Sassy has been in our family since she was 8 weeks old. She been around and grown up with other dogs cats rabbits and guinea pigs and wants to be everyone's mom. She has been with children as well. Sassy has gotten older and stubborn . She doesn't like to go out side when it's wet but will spend all day sun bathing on hot days. Though older she still loves to play when her puppy soul comes out. Sassy will do good at this time in a calm home. She loves walks and car rides. She loves to sing, dance, roll over, shake, and sit pretty. She's much loved but as we are moving in February as well we can't have her anymore. Hopes she will find a new family to join in her age. I can be reached anytime

More about this shelter
Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome over 6000 pets each year. Every dog or cat leaves our shelter spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.
We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of over 96%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, transfer, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.
In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
