Stevie can be reactive in certain situations. Her triggers include receiving treats around other dogs when off-leash and, occasionally, her food bowl, though this behavior is inconsistent. She feels comfortable around familiar people and, when on-leash and given commands, does not engage with other dogs or strangers. However, she may show reactivity toward some dogs and people when off-leash.
In her home environment, Stevie can be unpredictable around children and dogs she has been exposed to for a few days. While she may initially play well with kids, sudden movements or the presence of food can provoke an aggressive reaction. Despite these behaviors, Stevie is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to her person. She adapts well to varying energy levels and is generally not a frequent barker. Occasionally, she may bark in the backyard, but this is easily controlled with the command “No Bark, Treat.”
