He would thrive in a home with no children under 15, where he can play and interact with older kids who can match his enthusiasm. A fenced yard would also be helpful, so Charlie can safely run and play to his heart`s content, and he would also love a family who enjoys taking him on plenty of walks to explore new places.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped before adoption. The adoption requirements and fees vary with the animal.

We do adoptions on the square in Dahlonega most weekends, attend various local events, have annual fundraisers, and our animals can be seen at the shelter any day from 10:00 - 4:30 (an hour for lunch from 12:00-1:00). Come by and see the new changes at the shelter as well, ask to volunteer, or just introduce yourself and meet the wonderful staff members.
