My name is Tiki *Arriving 1/11*!

Meet Tiki, the sweet and goofy pup with a heart full of love! Tiki came to us from BARC and has been winning hearts ever since with his charming personality.

Tiki may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate companion. He loves belly rubs and has a cute habit of standing on your leg to get your attention. While he might be unsure of new people initially, give him a few minutes, and he’ll be your best friend.

Tiki is great with children over 10, adults, seniors, and other dogs, both big and small. He’s leash trained, crate trained, and does well in the car. With a moderate energy level, Tiki enjoys playtime but also loves to relax and snuggle. He’s still learning how to ask new dogs to play and sometimes barks in their faces, which not all dogs appreciate. However, he’s improving and just needs a little guidance.

This playful pup is full of personality and will talk to you when he can see you, making him a delightful companion. He’s affectionate and goofy, bringing joy to everyone around him. Tiki would do best in a home where he can have some time to warm up and feel safe. He might be a bit timid and scared at first, but with patience and love, he becomes the best companion you could ask for.

Tiki is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 1/11/2025  and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
