Sid and Tony are two resilient cats who have shown remarkable strength despite the difficult start they've had. Sid, a 10-month-old medium-haired orange tabby and white, and Tony, a 3-year-old short-haired orange tabby and white, were found together in a cramped carrier, abandoned in an empty lot. Both cats, who were intact males, have now been safely taken to Country Willow Animal Hospital.
While Sid has a bit of old scarring on his left eye, both cats are in good health and are absolutely gorgeous. Tony a bit timid and quiet but is extremely affectionate once he feels comfortable with people. All he really wants is to be snuggled up into you lap! Sid is the more outgoing of the two and is always looking for attention and love from anyone he meets. It's clear they have a lot of love to give, and it's heartbreaking to think they were left behind like this. The bond between Sid and Tony is strong, and they're very close, so we're looking to place them together in a new home.
These two have been through a lot but are ready to start their next chapter with a loving family who can appreciate their gentle and affectionate nature. If you're looking for a pair of sweet and loving cats, Sid and Tony are sure to bring warmth and joy into your home! Primary Color: Orange Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 13.1 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks

More about this shelter
Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. is founded on the belief that all animals have a natural right to humane treatment including proper care and safe shelter. Due to overpopulation, there are insufficient homes for most cats and dogs. Some are lucky enough to find temporary shelter and a few even find permanent homes. However it is a devastating fact that the majority are either euthanized or forced to chance life without shelter.
To support our belief and to relieve the unnecessary suffering of animals, we shall:
1.Extend every effort to find, evaluate, and secure good adoptive homes for animals in our care.
2.Provide animals with medical services and behavior therapy to the extent of our ability.
3.Adhere to a “no-kill” policy: animals shall not be euthanized for the purpose of providing space for new animals.
4.Adhere to a 100% spay and neuter policy.
5.Maintain continuing humane education programs and in particular to schools.
