Garland came to us through an Animal Control Officer who had picked her up as a stray, so we don`t know anything about her prior life.
She`s had a lot of changes in the past month, and is settling in here, getting lots of attention and exercise. She can be a strong puller, but is learning to walk well on leash with a front-clip harness. Garland is food motivated, and eager to please, so she`s doing well with her basic training.
Garland has shown signs of not wanting other dogs in her life, so she is looking to be the only dog in her new home. We do not know how she feels about cats. She is still jumping to greet, so young children are probably not a good fit for her.
She would like an active lifestyle, with some fun adventures and exercise, and stimulating brain games, so then she can snuggle on the couch for a good nap.
