Karla is a friendly and amiable canine companion who interacts well with people of all ages, as well as other animals. While she possesses a playful nature, she generally maintains a calm demeanor.

She enjoys walks and car rides, exhibits excellent leash manners, and travels well in a vehicle. She is affectionate, preferring to stretch out while sleeping, and enjoys chewing on bones and treats, although she can be selective about her food.

As a husky, she vocalizes, but her vocalizations are not excessive. She is reliably house-trained and prefers unsupervised time, though she does exhibit some anxiety during thunderstorms, seeking proximity and comfort. It is important to note that she is sensitive about having her rear end and paws handled, though she expresses this discomfort without aggression.

Karla embodies the appealing qualities often associated with huskies, making her an exceptional canine companion. She is well-trained, responding to commands such as sit, down, stay, and shake. However, it is important to acknowledge that she sheds extensively.

She will be in our care late January 2025.

Located in Pinellas County, Florida.
