My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Ellen is a 10 week old Terrier X puppy who will be joining us with her 3 siblings on 12/16/2024 via our TX partner Saving Shelter Strays. The puppies along with mom were living under an abandoned trailer and were picked by our rescue partner Saving Shelter Strays. They are currently in a foster home waiting for their freedom ride to the PNW to find their forever homes.

Foster Update:   Ellen is about 10 weeks old and is doing so good at life. She is very food motivated and is currently working on crate training.  During the day she does great with her potty schedule and has very few accidents for how young she is! Potty training is a work in progress but she is making great strides each day.  She loves the resident pack of dogs and they play well together. She goes on a multiple walks a day and loves getting out and seeing new things. She is adorable and  loves to be with people and follows them everywhere. She will need active home to meet her puppy enrgy, if your looking for a hiking buddy she would love to join you. Ellen will be big girl (Mom is aprox 70 lbs). We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a canine companion to play with would be a plus. Due to breed and size we are not considering apartments for this girl.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
