My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617
Green—Kid by Kid, Dog by Dog
**Due to McCoy needing neutered, his adoption will not be finalized until on or after: 1/18/25

McCoy is an adorable dog who is eager to get out of his cage. He can be a bit pushy at first, but his body language becomes soft and relaxed once he`s out. He walks well on a leash; he immediately backs off when he feels any pressure. McCoy enjoys being handled and even gets a little excited about it. He tends to rub against you, seeking more affection and is comfortable being touched on his feet, hindquarters, and ears. Although he may start a bit energetic, he quickly settles down when given attention. He enjoys playtime with balls and squeaky toys but isn`t particularly interested in ropes or tug games; he prefers to chase instead. I haven`t noticed any resource-guarding tendencies in him. McCoy greeted a stranger in a friendly and appropriate manner. When meeting another dog, he was slightly rude but still excited and appropriately social. He also returned to his kennel without any issues.
