My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winter! She was born in a shelter soon after her mom arrived. We got a call asking if we could take the family in because a crowded municipal shelter isn’t the best place for tiny babies! Winter’s mom is a petite white lab mix, and we have no clue who dad is. She loves exploring and giving kisses!

Our dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Our adoption donation for puppies is $350 and for adults it is $200. Please email info@BigHearts4PawsRescue.org for an application.

Adoption fee applies. Puppies go to their forever homes current on vaccines, current on flea prevention, microchipped & altered (spayed/neutered). Our adult dogs are altered, current on all vaccines, current on flea prevention as well as heartworm prevention, microchipped, and have had a heartworm test.

We interview our families online only via email prior to meeting with the pet they inquire about. Our goal is to place the animal in the home best suited for the pup or adult.

Prospective families will email BigHearts4PawsRescue@yahoo.com and be interviewed online. Appointments are then made with the approved adopters to come out and have a meet/ greet and adopt.

Big Hearts 4 Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (applied for) devoted to saving the lives of unwanted companion pets. We provide loving care to our puppies and adult dogs until a suitable "forever" home is found.

All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption.
