Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Nikili is part of a bonded pair with Morro Nara and must be adopted with her.
A bit about Nikili: - Potential for select other dogs pending successful introduction. Bonded with Morro Nara (A2000218156). - Unknown history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised over several sessions - Unknown history with children; all interactions should be supervised.
Beautiful dark grey Nikili and her fluffy white sister Morro Nara came to our shelter for a fresh start and quickly charmed the staff here with their good looks and unbreakable devotion to each other. Nikili and Morro Nara are believed to be litter mates, sisters who have never been apart. Nikili is the more confident sister, happy to approach with a wagging tail and an offer of friendship. Morro Nara is shyer and relies on Nikili for safety and confidence. Both girls are happy to receive pets, and treats (sometimes Nikili tries to steal Morro Nara`s) and would love to find a home where they can go on lots of adventures and play in the snow together. Nikili and Morro Nara have potential for a variety of home environments, but we are not sure how they will do with other pets and kids, so adult support will be essential to ensure a happy relationship for everyone. If you can offer these sweet sisters a safe and loving home then come down to CHS to say hi!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
