Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Morro Nara is part of a bonded pair with Nikili and must be adopted with her.
A bit about Morro Nara: - Potential for select other dogs pending successful introduction. Bonded with Nikili (A2000218153). - Unknown history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised over several sessions - Unknown history with children; all interactions should be supervised.
Fluffy white Morro Nara and her darker sister Nikili came to our shelter in need of a new beginning. They charmed the staff here with their good looks and strong love for one another. Nikili and Morro Nara are believed to be litter mates, sisters who have never been apart. Morro Nara can be shy, she`ll often bark on first meeting, and looks to her sister Nikili for guidance and confidence. As long as they are together, both girls are happy to receive pets, and treats (sometimes Nikili tries to steal Morro Nara`s) and would love to find a home where they can go on lots of adventures and play in the snow together. Nikili and Morro Nara have potential for a variety of home environments, but we are not sure how they will do with other pets and kids, so adult support will be essential to ensure a happy relationship for everyone. If you can offer these sweet sisters a safe and loving home then come down to CHS to say hi!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
