My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moana is a cute 3-month old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on December 21, 2024 after she was picked up on Second Street in Lower Salem Ohio along with her mother (Pua) and her brother (Maui). None of this adorable trio were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.

This lovely playgirl has a brown/brindle short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with expressive dark brown eyes, black shading on her muzzle, and large semi-erect ears.

Moana has a happy, playful personality.

Moana and her brother Maui had their photos taken on the afternoon of December 21st in the Receiving area of the shelter where they were avidly watching the HSOV cats in their cages (and being very vocal). We aren't sure that we'd trust Moana and Maui to be nice to the kitties.

Moana weighs 18.4 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Moana will be held for 14 days since her owner has been identified .. And hopefully she will be reclaimed.

A Good Samaritan who was familiar with this little family provided their real names ... Pua's real name is Loretta. Maui's real name is Rex. Moana's real name is Angel.
