Meet Bambi! This stunning GSD mix arrived at the shelter as a stray but it’s clear he had a family at some point. Bambi is a very smart boy and knows tricks like sit and down. He’s been friendly with other dogs at the shelter. Bambi would love to find a home that can fatten him up and give him all the love he deserves!

Behavioral notes:
Per volunteer 12/31: Bambi is a curious and smart puppy that loves to pose for photos. He knows listens for sit and loves to play with his toys!! Bambi is strong and likes to explore, so he can pull on his leash to get to where he wants to go.
BEHAVIOR EVALUATION (12/31):
KNOWN HISTORY:
Stray
KENNEL PRESENTATION:
Bambi was at the front of the kennel and had neutral eyes, neutral body and was patient for leashing and exited without any issues. No issues returning either

HANDLING:
In the room Bambi sniffed around and explored his surroundings before coming back over to interact with us. He was tolerant to all handling and showed knowledge of sit. He took treats gently when offered but could get impatient at times! He was easy to handle in the room despite his large size. While in the room he remained very focused on treats and finding food.
