Meet Scooter! Scooter is about 10 months old, 26 lbs, and he may have some Corgi in his mix! Scooter could no longer be cared for by his elderly owner. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 5+. other dogs, and cats. Scooter will need to be neutered asap which Brown Dog will schedule and pay for at one of our partners.
His foster says, `Scooter is a joy to foster. He loves for someone to spend time with him by playing with him and his toys. He loves to get a toy in his mouth and tease you by bring it to you then he retreats. He loves being chased during this time. He will pickup anything in the floor (such as socks/shoes) just to get you to play with him. He would be an excellent companion with or without another dog but in my opinion, he would love to have a sibling. He has never showed any aggression at all towards ppl or other animals of any kind.`
He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 10th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
