Hootie is a young husky mix that is literally always ready to party. If there is fun he wants to be included, play time? Count him in! Hootie loves other pups or really anyone that’s willing to socialize with him. Typical to his breed being outside, especially in the snowy weather is one of his favorite places to be. Social, friendly and outgoing Hootie would make an awesome addition to just about any moderately active family. He is not overly large, however he does like to jump up and give hugs so smaller children may not be fond of him. Hootie is doing very well with his basic doggy skills, however he will need a family that is going to keep a well balanced routine if structure and stimulation to ensure he keeps up his good behaviors. A Little "Kibbles & Bits" About Us
Crate Escape is a small family run rescue. We are a family friendly rescue we do not have an age requirement for kids in an adoptive home. We believe that it is better to educate kids on the proper way to care for the pups so they can use the knowledge in the future. All pups from 8 weeks on up are spayed/neutered. All of our pups are in foster care or in our own home. They are all vetted prior to entering their forever homes.
Our Mission "Possible"
With your help you can make our mission possible! Our rescue specializes in saving pups primarily from North and South Carolina in high kill shelters. Believe it or not there is over an 80% euthanization rate for unwanted dogs/puppies. Shelters can be a taboo for dogs especially young puppies. They carry deadly illnesses that puppies are susceptible to such as parvovirus, distemper, etc.

Our second goal is to PROMOTE, ADVOCATE, AND EDUCATE people about the importance of having a pet spayed/neutered. All of our pups (8 weeks +) are spayed & neutered. This is so important in helping us achieve our goal.
