Our family adopted Ziva in August of 2023. Initially she got along with our other dog, but as time wore on their relationship deteriorated. It got to a point where we had to start keeping them separated and it worked for six months or so, but mistakes can and do happen and one finally did. I can’t have us all walking on eggshells and it isn’t fair to them to not be able to take them out on walks or go places.
I have 2kids -10/14, a cat and another dog that she does fine with, though they had one fight, initiated by the other dog (an older pup) She does great with them, though she is not a fan of loud toys and tends to get a little toothy if rough housed with or wrestled with. She loves to snuggle and thinks she’s a lap dog, loves kisses and playing with her ball.
It breaks my heart to rehome her, she really is super sweet and we all love her, but for the wellbeing of both dogs and my family, I need to get her somewhere that’s all hers.
