Please say hello to this cutie pie named Galena! Galena arrived at the shelter with ID on 12/17 because she got lost on an adventure. Sadly, her family has not
visited the shelter to reclaim her. Galena is super sweet and super cute. She is slowly adjusting to her new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. At one point in her life, someone took care of her as her coat looks so smooth and well kept. She is simply gorgeous! She is hoping to find a loving person soon that will continue to take care of her and actually take the time to train her properly to keep her safe in her home and be patient with her. She is a tad strong on the leash but with proper training and patience she will have that mastered in no time at all! She is treat motivated so make sure you have some ready for this gal! She needs someone that will be there for her in her life EVERYDAY!! Galena is very playful so a big backyard would be ideal for her to explore everyday. She deserves an active family who will be committed to taking care of her properly and keep her stimulated mentally and physically. She is super intelligent as she knows how to sit pretty well and she may know more! She is eager to please and a natural at learning new things.
Galena is current on vaccines, will be spayed and micro-chipped upon her adoption. Galena has been tested negative for heart worms which is sweet news for this pretty baby. Galena is a nice size of 57 pounds and she is just 2 years old. So she is still pretty young. She is more than ready to meet her new family. You will find Galena patiently waiting for you in run 57. Galena's ID# is 7025.
