My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

and Barney is ready to find a family of his own - one that will cherish the treasure this little guy is because he is indeed a treasure
Barney was taken in by a family after he was dumped out in a known area dogs are dumped in - nobody claimed him during the stray hold so we brought him into the rescue and got him the works at the vet
Barney is estimated to be 6-7 months old and is 38 pounds - we do believe he is a french bulldog/english bulldog mix - so yes maybe a tad stubborn
He gets along great with other animals (dogs and cats) he is housebroken and crate trained and really is an all around good dog with an amazing personality that is sure to bring many smiles to your face daily. I mean one look at that face and it makes me smile.
Barney is up to date on vaccines, he has had a 4DX Heartworm test and is current on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention, he is neutered, dewormed, microchipped and has a full bloodwork panel done.
If you are interested in adopting Barney - please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. We do require vet references and a home visit - we DO NOT set up meet and greets until the application has been filled out and reviewed. All of our dogs are located in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. His adoption fee is $250.00

Additional adoption info

Our fees are:
$250.00 (for All Ages)
*Unless otherwise noted

All of our rescues will be spay/neutered prior to adoption, unless they are under 6 months of age or recommended by our vet. All dogs will be micro chipped prior to adoption and come with a care package at the time of adoption

Our application process is as follows:
First an application should be filled out at our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org on the Foster/Adoption Application page. A vet reference check is done to verify all the animals currently in the home are UTD on vaccines as well as Heart Worm Preventatives. A phone interview will be conducted, and the final step is a home check.

Go meet their pets

All of our rescues are fostered in separate homes, as we do not have a facility yet. We do have occasional adoption events, which can be found on our website calendar at www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org or on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/boxerbuttsandothermutts

More about this rescue

We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.
