My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Otie! I came from a situation where my human mom loved me very much but got overwhelmed with too many cats to take care of and I ended up not getting enough attention. Ugh. I'm a tame and friendly cat trapped inside a scared one right now. It was all through good intentions, but I came to need rescue in a frightening way. I first got put out on the street yikes. Then some good people made a call for help on my behalf. And Desert Haven took me in. So to sum up, I was in an overcrowded home, then was homeless, now I'm in rescue. It's a lot, I know!! I am doing my best to hold my head up high but truth be told I'm a little shook. I am hiding but love to be petted. I am nervous, but the people here show me I don't have to be anymore. I am worried I won't find another family, though everyone at Desert Haven reminds me my family is out there looking for me right this very minute. So I am going to prepare myself! I'm going to get courageous, let go of my fears, and trust. I am a male kitty-cat and I am up to date on all my vaccines. I also have a recent negative test result for FIV/FELV. I have my whole life ahead of me. I trust in the goodness of people. Do you want to be my people? Love, Otie
