My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nimbus was rescued as a young kitty and has lived in a loving home since then. He now needs a new home through no fault of his own, and his current family is looking for a good match and a family who will love and care for him as much as they do. He lives with multiple other cats, doesn't seem to mind the gentle dog, and is comfortable in situations with more than one person.

Nimbus is thought to be at least part Turkish Angora but there is no documentation to be sure. He weighs about 14 lb and is neutered and microchipped. Nimbus has had his original vaccinations but is due for updates.

This is a courtesy listing - Nimbus is currently living with his rescue family and is not at RAIN. For more information on please use the following contact information:

Additional adoption info

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

RAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
