Hi, I’m Mikey!

I might look like a puppy, but I am a two-year-old well-mannered gentleman who
is ready to snuggle you on the couch and accompany you on your errands! I’m only 15 pounds,
but unlike some of my small friends, I’m accepting of my size and don’t have ‘little man
syndrome.’ So, I love to do small dog things but without a macho man attitude. My faves are
sleeping in my dog bed after doing my potties and zoomies outside, and playing with my foster
dog sisters! Even though I’m smaller than my foster cat sister, I think she’s boring and leave her
alone. Snooze!
I just love to please my people, so I’m still trying my best to stay in my crate when they tell me to
and I’m doing great, because I am a fast learner for other things like sit, down, and stay! I’m
really getting the hang of it, but I have FOMO because of my foster dog sisters. I’m a very gentle
and submissive boy, so I don’t mind sharing toys, treats, my bed, pets, or anything at all like
that! Some of my favorite things to do are run around outside, get belly rubs and chin scratches
(have you seen my beard?!) and keep my people company. I just love to be a part of the family.
I will be great addition to anybody to wants to have me as one of the gang!
The downsides to me? Well … there really aren’t any! I’m compact (my foster mom says I’m like
a rotisserie chicken), I love kids and am small enough not to knock down the little ones, I’m old
enough that I’m pretty calm a lot of the time and I’m always down for a good nap. Walks are my
fave, I don’t pull and I LOVE a Starbucks pup cup. I also have a really cool party trick and I
can walk on my hind legs!
