Elphaba (Elphie) has nothing Wicked about her. This sweet girl just wants to be in your lap or curled up next to you taking a nap. We are working on her being ok with us moving around the house without whining, to get us to cuddle with her. You never have to wonder where she is or if she will take off when outside. She is truly a praise motivated dog and comes back to her name for pets. She is the absolute best puppy on a leash, seriously, she’s a natural and never pulls! While we are working on the whining, she doesn’t bark. She settles well in her crate at night and sleeps through the night. She is not yet asking to go outside but seems to know outside means she goes potty and has had only 1 accident inside so far. She enjoys meeting people, but can be a little slower to warm to men. She is excited to see and play with all dogs of all sizes and is respectful to social cues given by other dogs. She has not yet had exposure to cats but we hope to have her introduced to them soon. She is fantastic with kids over 8 ( she has not yet met younger kids). She is the sweetest of puppies and everyday she opens up more.
Elphie does have demodex mange, but it already has gotten better in the week we’ve had her. It is not contagious to people or pets.
