Elphaba (Elphie) has nothing Wicked about her. This sweet girl just wants to be in your lap or curled up next to you taking a nap. We are working on her being ok with us moving around the house without whining. You never have to wonder where she is or if she will take off when outside. She is truly a praise motivated dog and comes back to her name for pets. She is the absolute best puppy on a leash, seriously, she’s a natural!While we are working on the whining, she rarely barks. She settles well in her crate when we go out of of the house and at night and sleeps through the night. She is a little stubborn about going potty, she wants to go only when she’s ready. She is very playful with catching a ball outside or tossing her toys for herself inside. She picked up “sit”within minutes. She’s still learning heel, down, and wait. She knows “off” but sometimes can’t resist her paws on a counter to see what you’re doing. She enjoys meeting people, but can be a little protective of her space. She does well if she meets guests outside the house first and then gladly welcomes them in the home. She is excited to see and play with all dogs of all sizes and is respectful to social cues. She has not yet had exposure to cats but we hope to have her introduced to them soon. She is fantastic with kids over 8 ( she has not yet met younger kids). She is the sweetest of puppies and everyday she opens up more.
