My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I'm Lola! I am a high-energy pup that was sadly surrendered due to my ongoing allergies and my previous owner was not able to help me with it. This was the only home I've ever known, so I should be sad, but I am still a happy girl regardless! I am young yet, and I know that my forever people are out there! I have quite a bit of puppy antics yet, and I could use some training to work through my jumpiness and nippiness, but with some work and patience, I will be a great companion for someone someday! I am very friendly, fun, and always ready for a good time! I have never really been around children or other dogs, but with the right introduction to both, I shouldn't have an issue living with either in my future home! My allergies are being kept up with now thanks to the awesome vet team here at the shelter, and should be easily managed in my future home as long as my family is willing to do so! I have so much love to give - I just need to find that right fit! Could I be your girl? Come meet me at the shelter!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
