In April 2024, Chama was found as a scared, skinny puppy at UD. My daughter tried to find his home, tried to rehome him and ultimately he ended up living with me after no success. We got him all his shots, had him neutered and welcomed him and loved him. A time went on he became more and more aggressive with my male Basset Hound. We tried intervening and multiple tactics to no avail. Yesterday he attacked my Basset ending in the Basset needing surgery. The core issue seems to be male dogs according to the vet. They are both trying to establish dominance. So I need to rehome Chama. Chama is a major snuggler, runs to you when he sees clothes he can wear, is very social gets along great with my female Basset and female Mastiff. My female Basset is old and sometimes grouchy and even when she growls at him or barks at him, Chama just walks away. He has never been anything but loving with adults and children. He is 100% housetrained, loves car rides and clothes, He loves to play fetch!
