Remi is a true diamond in the rough looking for an some-one committed to helping him shine. This sweet boy is the definition of bravery and resilience. Remi started life in an abandoned house barely surviving and then lived with his siblings in a livestock pen. Despite coming into foster with no training or socialization yet, it continues to amaze us with his intelligence and strong work ethic.

However, he still has a wild side that requires an experienced person with patience and a commitment to working with him physically and mentally.

This boy wants to work, he picks things up very quickly and loves to show off. He thrives when given plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He exemplifies “a good dog is a tired dog”- Tired Remi want

Submit Application

Either email or fax our application back to us in a fully completed state. We will reach out and set up a phone interview with you.

2.
Interview

- Phone interview - Reference check (Vet, 2 references) - Home Check

3.
Approve Application

- Meet and Greet - Adoption contract signed, adoption donation paid, new pet goes home with you!

Additional adoption info

We have a written application followed by a phone interview. If the applicant is approved past this point then we check 2 personal references as well as their vet reference. If they rent we speak with their landlord as well. If all is well at this point then we do a home check. The final step is a meet and greet where the adopter and the household, including dogs travel to meet the new adoptive dog. If all goes well they can adopt. There is an adoption contract and the adoption fee ranges between $200-400 depending on the fees that we put into the particular dog.

We support local "ma & pa" business before the big box chains since many of us come from some communities. We also attended fairs and "meet & greet" events.
