He zooms around the yard, chases toys with enthusiasm, and is always ready for a game of fetch (even if he thinks keep away is more fun). He’s playful playful playful—and then some!
But Ace isn’t just a happy-go-lucky goofball—he’s also incredibly smart.
Ace is fully deaf, and is mastering sign language like a pro! He already knows sit, down and come! His deafness has never gotten in the way of his ability to navigate the world and be a happy guy.
Ace is dog-friendly and would love to join a home with other playful pups who enjoy a good romp. If your pack is looking for a new, fun-loving teammate, Ace is ready to sign up!

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
