My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki is 9 months old as of December, 2024. This is a shy guy with a heart of gold. He has no aggressions and loves other dogs. His favorite playmate here is a 6 pound Chihuahua. This boy is house trained, leash trained and knows basic commands. However, he can jump over a 6 foot fence or privacy fence like it is nothing and he is afraid of new situations. He will need an owner that is basically a homebody and has plenty of time just to be with him. His temperament though is awesome! He is loving, playful and cuddly with his person. He has also been around children with no issues. So, a nice, quiet home with someone that can take him for walks and spend time with him would be the best. Loki is neutered, up to date on shots, flea and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting or visiting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org.

We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
