My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jade was adopted over a year ago and, through no fault of her own, she has been returned. The family experienced a death in the family, serious health issues, etc. Instead of contacting us immediately, they waited until the last moment before scheduling Jade to be euthanized.

Jade was sad, disoriented, afraid, confused when returned to us. Jade has not been socialized for the past year. When the owner's husband died, the owner moved in with her ailing mother and two small dogs that barked at everything! She had it good for awhile until her world collapsed around her. Jade ended up not being walked, socialized, and mostly kept in a crate. The stressful environment made Jade react to the little dogs that never stopped barking.

She is recovering from neglect and on her speedy road to recovery, learning to trust and connect once again as is so ingrained in her.

WE WANT A FOSTER HOME FOR JADE OR A FOSTER TO ADOPT, BUT WE ASK THAT YOU APPLY ONLY IF YOU ARE TRULY EXPERIENCED WORKING WITH SIMILAR SITUATIONS TO JADE. SHE NEEDS TO BE NUMBER ONE ON YOUR CALENDAR, A QUIET HOME, LONG WALKS WITHOUT EXPECTATIONS TO INTRODUCE HER TO OTHER DOGS RIGHT NOW.

HOWEVER, JADE DOES VERY WELL WITH CATS.

Such a wonderful girl she is and deserves a miracle.

SHE IS IN A FOSTER HOME NOW WITH A PERSON THAT WORKS FULL TIME. SHE IS CARED FOR AND SAFE, BUT WE WANT MORE FOR HER!

Are you that person or couple? It's incredibly rewarding to work with a shy dog if the focus is her.

Thank you for reading all that we wrote, and we hope that an ANGEL will answer our prayers this Christmas season.
