Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Bowie! We rescued her from ACCT Philly a few months ago and have been working on teaching her the ways of a dog. She is house trained, will sit and give her paw, knows to sit and wait patiently during meal times, pulls a bit on the leash, but is good off the leash and has excellent recall, even when distracted by a squirrel or other dog walkers. She loves zoomies, chasing tennis balls, snuggling on couches, and spending down time in a crate if needed. She is not a big barker, but will occasionally talk to you a bit. She is a chewer! But she quickly learned what she can chew (toys) and what she cannot chew (slippers).
Need to rehome unfortunately: we have an older dog that has been in our family for 8 years and they do not get along. They are very sweet and cuddle and have no issues, but then unknown triggers will cause her to lunge at him. She is however been good with quick/short term dog meets that are controlled, but needs a single-dog home.
