Murphy is a sleek and stunning 5.5-month-old black kitten with a heart full of potential and a story to tell. Rescued from North Platte, NE, Murphy was found living outside alongside his brother, Matty, until some kindhearted folks stepped in to give them a second chance. What started as a plan to neuter him turned into a realization that Murphy had all the makings of a wonderful companion, so he was sent to a rescue to learn just how kind people can be.

Murphy is typically nervous when it comes to new faces and environments, but with patience and love, he blossoms into a sweet and playful little guy who loves to flop over and show his belly for tummy rubs, purring away. He’s looking for an experienced adopter who's ready and willing to give him the space and time he needs to feel safe. After just a few days, he even lets his foster mom hold him!

Murphy would love nothing more than to be adopted with his brother, Matty—they’re an inseparable duo! Together, they love to play, explore, and snack their hearts out. These two are incredibly food-motivated, and a squeezy treat or a handful of kibble is pretty much all it takes to win Murphy’s trust and affection.
