Matty is a handsome 5.5-month-old grey and white kitten with a story as special as he is. Rescued from North Platte, NE, Matty was found living outside with his brother, Murphy, until some kind-hearted people stepped in to help. What started as a mission to neuter him turned into something more—his rescuers saw the potential in Matty to become a wonderful companion and sent him to a rescue to learn how kind people can be.

Matty is a sweet soul who can be nervous in new environments or with unfamiliar faces. He’s looking for an experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give him the space he needs to feel safe and secure. With patience, he’ll reward you with his sweet, playful nature and plenty of purrs.

Matty would love to be adopted with his brother, Murphy—they’re an adorable, bonded duo who love to play, explore, and eat! These two are extremely food-motivated, so if you’ve got squeezy treats or kibble, you’ve already got a shortcut to their hearts.
