Sunni Lee is an adorable kitten with a rich, black coat and eyes so bright and gold they almost seem to glow. She is also social kitty that enjoys the company of everyone that comes in her house: staff, volunteers, and strangers. She also loves playing with all the other kittens, especially when they roll the small plastic rings around the house.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
