My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Leo! This 4lb fluffmuffin is a mighty lion(head)! Leo came to RA in the Fall of 2024 after being surrendered at a vet clinic. He has spent some time in foster care learning how to house rabbit and lording over his foster person’s cats. Leo lives with 3 cats and he is the boss… although he will share his space with the household cats.

Leo communicates by “grunting.” He grunts just to let you know he is part of the family and wants to be included in activities. Leo is the alpha in the family and tells the cats who is in charge. His grunting may be a little intimidating for young children. Leo would do best with bunny-savvy people. Leo is very good about eating his pellets and hay; however, he is not too thrilled about greens. His favorite treat is a grape. He gets a grape twice per day with his pellets. He will snatch the grape out of his pellet bowl and run off with it... he does not want to share his grape! He eats his grape first and then goes back to his pellets. Leo’s favorite toy is his tunnel. He spends time running through it and sometimes naps in it.

Leo is exceptionally clean and tidy - he has flawless litter habits and does not chew. HIs favorite place is to hang under the dining room table and chairs and survey his kingdom. As you can see from his fantastic mane he will need regular brushing to keep him looking regal and tangle free. Leo tolerates this very well and will sit calmly in your lap for his evening brushing.

Leo is estimated to be 4 years old and is in good health, neutered and vaccinated for RHDV2. He is very sociable and would do well in a home with bunny savvy people, polite cats and we think he would very much like a lady bun friend.
