My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rare Rajapalayam Pups – Lambertville, NJ (2nd Litter ever in the USA!) (Additional adult picture from the first litter attached)

Introducing a rare opportunity to welcome one of the most unique and extraordinary dog breeds into your family: the Rajapalayam Hound – also known as the Indian Ghost Dog or Poligar Hound.

About the Breed:
The Rajapalayam is a rare and endangered breed from India, historically bred to hunt boar and protect estates. These majestic dogs are known for their fierce loyalty, exceptional intelligence, and deep affection for their families. They are tentative with strangers but will warm up with time and patience, making them both loving companions and reliable protectors.

Personality & Traits:
Protective yet Affectionate: While their loyalty runs deep, they also love to snuggle. The father is a lapdog, while the mother is a skilled hunter. Active & Agile: With long, powerful legs, these dogs require plenty of exercise and room to run.
