My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Comet, a 5-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 22 pounds and is ready to light up your life. This sweet and playful pup is making great progress with house training, thanks to patience and consistency from his foster family. He’s already a pro in the crate and sleeps soundly in his own space.

Comet is a friendly and outgoing companion who enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes, getting along with everyone he meets, including kids and even cats. He loves running around the house, spending time in the yard, and going on brief walks where he shows off his leash skills. When playtime winds down, he’s happy to snuggle up and follow his people around the house, always staying close to his favorite humans.

This confident and loyal pup is learning basic commands like “sit” and loves to chew on toys. His adaptable nature makes him a great fit for a variety of homes, whether you’re looking for a playful buddy or a cuddly companion. Comet’s happy energy and loving personality are sure to bring endless joy to his forever family. Could that be you? Apply to meet Comet today! His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
