My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A soft little thing, this one. Not quite fully in her own skin, but certainly no longer the feral stray she once was. At five months old, Surprise is still learning, still testing the boundaries of the world that will come to hold her, but with a quiet grace and an open heart that suggests she will bloom. Shy, yes, but only just, with a soft spot for the company of her fellow feline companions at Queen City Cat Lounge and the humans who care for her. Her love language is play – an unspoken agreement between her and the world that says, "I trust you, but on my terms." A beautiful little tiger, with a striping pattern that seems to echo the mysteries of the wild, Surprise was found on the streets of Winooski, just another survivor alongside her mother and siblings, Rainbow and Kitten. Her progress is a quiet triumph, a testament to the patience of those who’ve been kind to her. And now, the next chapter: she must go to a home where she is not alone. A young cat or kitten to keep her company, someone who knows the rhythm of living life on her own time, someone who can wait for the connection to form in its own quiet way.
