My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please say hello to this beautiful girl named Zoey! Zoey arrived at the shelter through no fault of her own on 12/22 because she got lost on a great adventure to finding her way home. She was found wondering in Cherokee County after being adopted a year and a half ago. Instead of her owners doing the right thing and bringing her home to take care of her properly, they gave up on her and signed her over. The volunteers describe her as a wonderful dog who is very sweet and very cute. She is a little strong on the leash but with a lot of patience, guidance, and a lot of love she will have that mastered in no time at all! She is slowly adjusting to her new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. She is gorgeous! She is hoping to find a loving person soon that will continue to take care of her and actually take the time to train her properly to keep her safe in her home and be patient with her. She needs someone that will be there for her in her life EVERYDAY!! Zoey love, love, love her toys! She especially loves playing with balls outside. She is a very playful pup!! She is super intelligent as she knows how to sit pretty well when asked. She may know more if you would just give her a chance. She is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. She has a lot of energy to burn so an active family would be ideal for Zoey. Take her on awesome adventures so she can have the best memories ever with the one she has been searching for all of his life--YOU!! She needs you now more than ever! Please help her find her way home! Zoey is great with kids and other dogs!

Zoey is current on vaccines, spayed, will be micro-chipped upon his adoption. She has tested negative for heart worms which is great news. Zoey is a nice size of 60 pounds and she is just 3 years old. So she is still pretty young. She is more than ready to meet her new family. You will find Zoey patiently waiting for you in Run 27. Zoey's ID# is 7108.
