Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rose is a 6 year old mix breed, 45lbs. She loves to play ball and take long walks. She loves adults and is okay around older children who know to not pet or approach her. She needs to be in a home without young children and would thrive as an only dog. We have a 1 year old and the high stress and separation is not working for us or her. We unfortunately arent able to give her the attention she needs. Rose is very sweet but she is a high anxiety dog and needs a home that can give her that attention. She isnt initially the best around other dogs (but she lives with a golden retriever, so she does okay with some dogs). She is the dog you take on hikes, not the dog you take to a brewery or to dog parks. Ive had her since she was 6 months old and shes been a great companion - it’s with a very heavy heart that I am looking to re-home her. But I truly think she would be happier in a less chaotic home. Please reach out with any questions!
