Meet Luna, a 2 year old Treeing Tennessee Brindle mix. Luna is a charming adult dog with an effervescent personality that lights up any room. Her sweet disposition makes her a joy to be around. Luna is energetic, always ready to play fetch or go for a brisk walk, making her the perfect companion for active individuals or families. Her friendly nature means she gets along well with everyone she meets. Luna is also a cuddly companion, always ready to curl up next to you and offer comfort after a long day. Adopting Luna means gaining a loyal, loving friend who will fill your life with joy and companionship.
Luna will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how she will do with cats.

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
