Hi, I'm Tempest, I came to my foster mom at 10 days old as the only survivor of the rest of my siblings and with a very hurt tail. They could not find my mommy so foster mom bottle fed me, she saw that I was a fighter and named me Tempest. A few days later they managed to find my mom Delphine and foster mom was happy to reunite us. Just a few days later foster mom got a call telling her that they had found 5 baby kitties my age who had been orphaned and needed a foster home and so I got 5 new siblings.
While my start in life was rough I have thrived since coming to my foster mom and my mom always tells me that I definitely live up to my name Tempest. I am a fun independent kitty who loves to play and wrestle with my siblings (especially with my sister Akela, she is my favorite sparring partner) and I find so much joy when foster mom brings out a new toy. I can jump so high chasing after the bell on a string she uses to play with us. I am rather fearless and often will be the first one to check out a new toy or play thing that she brings in. I make foster mom giggle when I get happy and excited while playing because my short tail wags back and forth quickly like a puppy. With my independence I like to be affectionate on my own terms, but I definitely like to settle down on a warm lap for a good nap, or perch on a shoulder and snuggle into your neck. I would love to find a fun home with people that will play with me and enjoy my fun, affectionate, independent personality!!
