Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
That sound of a person walking forward in flippers on a pool deck? Yeah, that’s actually Charlie, an aDORable 6 month old, 26 pound boy with the biggest paws you will ever see! If you miss hearing him, his flag-waving ears (they are having a party and he is kind enough to host it), are hard to miss and will make you laugh. AND, you are in luck because this boy is looking for his forever family!
Charlie is a terrier/mix with perhaps German Shepherd or even Wolfhound….it’s anyone’s guess, but what we know for certain is that he has the sweetest, and calmest personality around. While Charlie is being fostered with dogs his size as well as a couple 5 pounders, he will do best with another dog his size or as an only dog.
Being crate trained and walking nicely on a leash are a few of his skills. Charlie requires a fenced yard so he can stretch his legs as he enjoys running and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Charlie is making progress on being housebroken so will still need someone home on a regular basis or who is committed to continuing a potty-break schedule and is patient with him learning. Charlie has not met any cats that we know of.
Charlie is a gentle giant who will follow his people around wherever you go. He is sensitive to tone of voice and food motivated so willing to learn.
Unaware of his size, Charlie will plop himself in your lap for a good belly rub or to look at you with his soulful eyes to help you forget about your problems - he loves to snuggle
Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350.
**We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)**
