My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Hermie, and I was a recent owner surrender that had taken me in from a previous owner who did not care for me properly. When I arrived, everyone was shocked at how bad a shape I was in. They said they had never seen a case of urine scald so bad before. My nails were three inches in length and growing sideways, so everyone seemed to start working on me right away.

I received a mani/pedi first to allow me to run and play and then was groomed to get all the old and smelly fur away from my skin so treatment could begin for my urine scalded skin. I was a wonderful patient as I knew these kind people were trying to help me. Now that everyone has been taken care of I feel like a new bun!!! No more pain and my tail even twitches I get so excited!!! I was seen by the exotic vet and besides allowing the fur to grow back that had to be shaved I am healthy and ready to find my forever home.

If anyway has an older female that is spayed I am quite the gentleman and would probably be an easy bonding bun. I love attention and love to be petted. I will lay right down for any and all attention you give. I have excellent litterbox habits because I really do not like being dirty and keep a super clean home base.

I am a lop-eared rabbit and on the larger size of about 7 lbs but so sweet and gentle.

Would you consider giving a big lug like me a forever home?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
