Rescued from MCACC in Nov 2023, age is approx 3yrs old. She is a very well-behaved dog for the most part. Absolutely loves people and kids. Other dogs are hit or miss and does not get along with cats. She is Husky/Sheppard/Pitt according to Embark DNA sample we submitted. Birdie spends most of her time indoors, is house trained. She loves to fetch tennis balls but does not do to well on a leash...she is a puller. We have tried numerous methods to get her to do better on a leash but cannot seem to prevent her from continuing to pull. Birdie loves travelling in the car and gets very anxious at first and will whine for a bit, but does settle in. We also have a Heeler mix that she gets along with most of the time. However, both dogs do not travel well together which is the primary reason we are looking to rehome her. She does not chew, enjoys the water. Does have skin allergy and is on medication: Apoquel that is approx $40 month. She is a very loving dog.
