Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a cute young adult siamese cat who had an injury to her left hind leg and has undergone rehab. She is very sweet and would love a furrever home where she can be loved and cuddled. She will probably always have a slight limp on that leg but easily walks around and loves to jump up onto her cat tree, from which she surveys her world. All Ayla's cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed. A home visit is required and there is a small adoption fee. We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
