Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley is a mixed breed tricolor hound who is about 9 years old. She is as sweet as can be and gets along with other dogs, cats and people of all ages and sizes.
Marley came to us years ago and was adopted to a wonderful home and has been a great companion to her mom. She lived with other dogs and cats in her home. Sadly, her owner had some health issues and was unable to take care of her pets. Of course, ADA took her back and her foster mom from years ago is again fostering her.
Marley is a love bug and enjoys hanging out and staying warm. She loves laying on the couch and being pampered (according to her foster mom). She loves to lay by the fire with the cats in her foster home and loves the small grandchildren that come over to visit.
Can you be her happily ever after? She is what we call a unicorn dog - gets along with everything and everyone.
Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
