Best Guess for Age:   4 years as of December 2024        SEX:   Female

Approximate Weight:  36 lbs

Gets Along With:  Ginger Snap does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them. 

Currently Living at:   Coming soon to Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!

Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Ginger Snap would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.

Ginger Snap is Looking For: Her forever home! This super cute stubby legged little girl was thrilled to be rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. She's eager to get her very own humans for long sniffy walks and romps in parks and to explore her new world! Trying all the toys to see which she likes best sounds good, as do quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. 

But you know what she wants most of all? To know she's safe and loved and under her own roof. To know where she belongs, to be a cherished part of the family. In exchange, she offers all the affection she's stockpiling in the shelter and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Ginger Snap the one for your home?

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
