I found Finn on a back East Texas road at 8pm at night back in November. Based on the shape he was in and his behavior, Im pretty sure he had been dumped there a couple weeks prior. He is the sweetest dog and initially integrated very well with the rest of my pack (which includes a 70lbs alpha female, two chihuahuas under 5lbs, a 50lbs intact male, and an altered 50lbs male). Finn was a bit of a grump with my unaltered male initially (hes always been fine with my older male) and its gotten to the point where my male has had enough and is started to go after Finn. At this point its escalated enough that I cant keep Finn even though Id like to.
He was 40lbs when I found him but he needs to be closer to 45lbs (we are slowly getting there!). Since Ive had him Ive gotten him up to date on shots, dewormed, on heartworm meds, and neutered. Id say hes about 90% housetrained but he does have accidents if you go too long without taking him out (I'm talking HOURS). He's very loving.
