Come meet Jasper and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (01/05/25) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305)!

Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of December 2024 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 37.4 lbs
Gets Along With: Jasper does well with other dogs. We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.
Currently Living at: Coming soon to Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Jasper would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Jasper is Looking For: His forever home! He was thrilled to be rescued from the streets in Puerto Rico and can't wait to get his own humans. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures - yes, please! Quality kibble, a cushy dog bed, and dog toys sound great too but you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he has so much to offer - adoring gazes, tail wags, all the affection he's stockpiling in the shelter, and loyal companionship for all his days.
